ExAC Trainers needed in Värmland

Rune Solhaug, Unit Chief at KTC in Värmland brought back two trainers after receiving a short training himself in external aortic compression.

In December, Rune Solhaug, the Unit Chief for the Clinical Training Centre (KTC) in Sweden's Värmland Region, visited ExAC in Fredrikstad. Following a clear directive from his colleagues about the necessity for ExAC Trainers, the Värmland Region opted to acquire two Trainers.

The health services have locations in Karlstad, Arvika, and Torsby, and the two trainers will facilitate structured training of health personnel in the whole region.

By enhancing their skills in external aortic compression, we anticipate that health personnel in Värmland will gain greater confidence in managing postpartum hemorrhage, to the benefit for all parturients in the region- congratulations!
