Two years ago, in 2022, Oslo University hospital borrowed the first model of our ExAC Trainer and the first health professionals were trained in external aortic compression. Since then, an increasing number of professionals have been trained renting the ExAC Trainer.
This week, after having experienced of the positive effects in treatment of postpartum haemorrhage over some time, the Woman's Clinic bought their own ExAC Trainer. With this they have the possibility to strategically train all health professionals involved in treatment of postpartum haemorrhage. This means that with time, all professionals will be able to perform external aortic compression with confidence. They will also be able to repeat the training to uphold the competence and keep the skills sharp.
